For X-mas my dad proposed me to get some speakers from the X-mas man
I wonder wondering which speakers are good, as I have no clue what's good and what's not.

But my headset is already in the 5.1 sound card.
I rather not switch headphones -> speakers each time.
I prefer just changing from one to another by just pressing the button.. Is that possible ?

No. In order to use headset and speakers simul (fuck that word, you know what i mean) you got to have 2 sound cards, as i do. I bet you also have an integrated sound card on your MB. You can plug the speakers in it. But the sound quality will be worse.

On my old pc, I had speakers + headset.
I could just go to Control Panel -> audio -> dislpay of sound.
And I could chose between speakers + headset by just changing it without needing to remove anything.

So if I want to listen to music, I have to get to the back of my pc and swap the headset wires with the speaker wires vica versa.

That Philips is 300 euro and is 2.1
How come there are 5.1's for muuuuch less money?

And the philips, it says it is 2.1 but on the Pic I see atleast 4 'speakers'?

but seriously, buy two good speakers and used high-end amplifier. You will feel the difference :rocket:

Sand is right. There is no sound like 2 pro speakers+high-end aplifier. So if you want it only for music then do as sand said. Of course you won't be able to have surround sound in movies and such.
