Where to buy a Nvidia GTX 285?

A good friend of mine is looking for a GTX 285 and I am looking for some good prices.

Here in Germany the card is around 280€. I asked the guys from C clan about some PC shop in the US and I got a price (excl. shipping) at around 240€.

Some ideas?

Yeah, he told me he got an offer at 285€.

I think with buying in US he could save some money.

thi shipping from US isnt the cheapest and if it gets cought in customs
you will have to pay extra for it, the chanse of getting cought isnt big thought

We have the opportunity to let the card ship to my ex-gf which lives in the US.

Then she could declare the card as "gift" and send it tax-free to Germany.

Did that with my Oakley glasses and it worked perfectly.

well I dont know regarding the german laws but here it doenst mather if it comes from a private person or a company.

Hm, I remember that my parcel has been checked by German customs at Frankfurt airport and I didn't have to pay anything.

We have a limit of 300€ that are tax-free.
