Very nice cooling. Got it for myself yesterday.
As for the temperatures...My old, stock C2Q Q8300 cooling:
IDLE
CPU speed Core#1 Core#2 Core#3 Core#4
2504.66......50........44.......51........51
2504.66......49........43.......51........51
STRESS
CPU speed Core#1 Core#2 Core#3 Core#4
2499.76.......90........84.......92........91
2499.76.......97........92......100.......99
2499.76.......99........92.......99.......100
You see the reason why I had to change the stock cooler... Now with the Mugen 2 combined with Zalman STG-2 thermal grease:
IDLE
CPU speed Core#1 Core#2 Core#3 Core#4
2499.73.......36........29.......39........37
2499.73.......36........29.......39........37
STRESS
CPU speed Core#1 Core#2 Core#3 Core#4
2499.74........42.......31.......39........38
2499.74........39.......35.......39........39
Lol...120mm fan is almost noiseless. Can't hear shit (my comp case is open). It's working with 310RPM at the moment. Had to disable fan control in BIOS bcz it recognized the fan as "faulty" due to the low RPM lol. The funny thing is when I stress my CPU it goes up to 350RPM, still noiseless and you saw the temperatures...
Basically, this my personal recommendation if you want to buy a new cooling system. But if you want to close your comp case, you have to have a big one...at least a deep one. Mine doesn't want to close
